We were contracted by Davidson Stonework & Restoration to supply, erect and dismantle a temporary access scaffold to the full perimeter of this fully functioning educational institute and business centre. The building historically dates from the 12th Century.
The property, specifically the extensive grounds and woodland are open to the public so a considered approach to minimising noise, disruption and safety was an integral factor of works. The venue accommodates weddings and conferences amongst other events, and keeping disruption to an absolute minimum during any scheduled events was of paramount importance. Extensive liaison with Newbattle’s team ensured this directive was met to the client's satisfaction. As low level roofs were not load bearing we erected bridge sections over each entrance area which enabled main access and egress points to remain open and clear at all times.
